FOLDSCHOOL is a super project by Swiss architect Nicola Enrico Stäubli for making kid-sized cardboard furniture - recyclable, yet sturdy enough by design to actually be useful. The foldschool website includes step-by-step instructions for a stool, chair and rocker with only a few, inexpensive materials. Following the enthusiastic lead of genial 'NicolafromBern,' the foldschool projects ensure bigger folks (old enough to use sharp tools) have just as much fun making the furniture as the little ones will have decorating it. There's even a 3D visualizer to play with and a sample project to practice folding techniques. Those with geometric tendencies, please share your blueprints for adult-size versions!
